The Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) hereby issues this corrigendum regarding the Merit Ranking for Pre-Service Scholarship results announced on 16 March 2026.
As per the Pre-Service Scholarship Announcement dated 15 January 2026, merit ranking was to be computed based on course-specific subject criteria. These include prescribed subject combinations such as:
- Medical and allied programmes: English + Physics, Chemistry and Biology
- Engineering and STEM programmes: English + Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- Law and English: English + three best subjects excluding Dzongkha
- Archaeology: English + History, Geography and one best subjects excluding Dzongkha
- Economics: English + Maths, Economics and one best subjects excluding Dzongkha
