IDEAS Scholarship 2018-2019
The Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) is pleased to announce the availability of short term training (Post Graduate Diploma) under the Institute of Developing Economies Advanced School (IDEAS) in Japan as follows:

a. Round trip economy-class air ticket;
b. Monthly stipend determined in accordance with IDEAS regulations;
c. Free Tuition;
d. Free Textbooks;
e. Individual locker, desk and computer with internet access; and
f. Access to IDE/JETRO Library.
a. September 2018 till March 2019
a. Applicants must be public officials working for the government or public institutions. Their work should be related to economic assistance or socio-economic development;
b. Should have more than three years working experience;
c. Should be 35 years old or younger;
d. Should hold a Master’s Degree or have equivalent experiences, regardless of field. Priority will be given to those who have not been awarded any scholarship for a Master’s Degree in a foreign country;
e. Should have sufficient English ability to participate in University- level work. TOEFL iBT score of at least 88 is recommended;
f. Need to accept ‘Terms and Conditions’ provided by IDEAS)
a. Eligible candidates from the civil service fulfilling the in-service training criteria of the BCSR 2012
a. Applications should be submitted to RCSC through Ministries/Agencies concerned latest by July 5, 2018 with following documents as follows:

c. Letter of Reference written by the Supervisor of the Applicant sealed and enclosed in an envelope (Click here);
d. Evidence of competence in English (TOEFL or alternate test score record/ELPC, if available);
e. Transcript and Certificate of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree;
f. Medical Certificate (Click here);
g. Two recent Passport Photo (30mm x 40mm); and
h. Photocopy of Passport.
